Our consultants boast distinguished careers working for some of the industry’s most respected brands in travel and hospitality. They are seasoned practitioners with a minimum of five years multinational industry experience in travel and hospitality, and over 10 years in leadership role in one or more commercial, marketing, financial and technology disciplines. Tim Davis
Founder and Managing Director of PACE Dimensions
Tim takes a hands-on role in on-going projects at PACE, offering over twenty years of experience in senior management roles for global companies.
Prior to founding PACE, Tim was a Senior Vice President at Hilton Hotels Corporation for twelve years where he led departments with responsibility for Marketing, Distribution & eCommerce, Commercial Development, and IT. His achievements include the management of two major post-merger integrations, significantly improving performance. Also the creation, from scratch, of Hilton’s eCommerce capabilities – these took online sales to US$3.5bn in five years.
Previous roles include Marketing Director at Hughes Olivetti Telecom and Head of Multinational Sales at Galileo International. Tim has also served as a Non-Executive Director for a number of hotel industry technology joint ventures including Worldres and Andbook, and as Trustee and Chairman for a military charity; Blind Veterans UK.
Tim’s industry experience includes technology, communications, media and travel, hospitality and leisure. His domain expertise areas are marketing, sales distribution and revenue management and IT.
Tim also has extensive experience in corporate development, high-level implementation and change management, with projects comprising multi-year transformation programmes across multiple countries.
Jo Hill
Senior Consultant, PACE Dimensions
Jo specialises in digital strategy and marketing. She helps organisations adapt and improve their marketing and business practices to better serve customers and generate revenue in our digital world.
Jo is an expert in strategy creation and adoption, digital business integration and change leadership including organisational development.
With 14 years senior-level experience across multiple areas of digital marketing and channel management, Jo’s ability to set effective strategies is supported by a practical knowledge of the front-line of digital media. This includes technologies and tactics covering data and analytics, performance marketing, CRM, mobile, social, content management and more. Jo spent seven years in the travel industry and has also worked in the recruitment, property, and B2C and B2B e-commerce sectors.
Examples of Jo’s work include leading the successful design and activation of a global digital customer-facing business strategy for FTSE 250 recruiter Hays; developing and rolling out a new direct response digital marketing strategy and organisation structure for FTSE 100 hotelier IHG, implementing programme changes that improved profit by 20%; and expanding IHG’s European, Middle East and African online marketing activities and team to subsequently deliver 8-figure revenues p.a. within strict cost of sale parameters.
Prior to joining PACE Jo was Interim Group Head of Digital Marketing at Hays PLC and, before that, held two Director positions at IHG PLC including Director of Global Interactive Marketing.
Earlier in her career Jo was responsible for Hamptons International online business and cut her digital teeth at ecommerce start-ups GroupTrade.com and Nutravida.com
Jo’s passion for digital stems from an unquenchable thirst for learning and planning new and better ways to do things. As well as steering her career, this has led to her travelling extensively, renovating houses and reorganising almost everything she comes across.
Leonard Burke
Senior Consultant, PACE Dimensions
Leonard’s strength lies in leading innovative and sustainable change in the travel and hospitality industry for companies large and small.
Leonard has deep expertise in defining the business architecture and enabling and implementing significant technology change across all aspects of hotel and commercial operations and across markets worldwide.
Before joining PACE, Leonard spent five years consulting in the industry on a variety of business transformation initiatives for major hospitality chains and industry technology providers. Leonard also spent nearly 30 years working for major hotel companies, including IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group) and Hilton Hotel Corporation, in a variety of areas, including hotel operations, revenue management, and technology.
During his time at the IHG, he was a Vice President charged with developing a strategy to modernise and integrate the core hotel operations technology platform. This included developing a strategy to consolidate the three major property management solutions on to a single global platform. Leonard also developed a comprehensive plan to transition the company’s 5,000 hotels in 103 countries to a new reservations system.
Before joining IHG, Leonard served in several senior-level roles at Hilton and Promus Hotel Corporation. Leonard’s most notable accomplishments with these companies included the introduction of the industry’s only “evergreen” hardware refreshment program, the deployment of the company’s US-developed property management system to over 50 countries, and the introduction of one of the industry’s first automated revenue management solutions. He has also led various business transformation initiatives, including outsourcing customer support services.
Leonard has extensive international experience, having travelled to over 20 countries and working directly with in-country leadership and hotel owners in dozens more. He also lived outside of his home country for nearly three years.
In addition to Leonard’s in-depth industry knowledge, his expertise focuses on leadership, strategy and planning, and business transformation.
Ian Young
Consultant, PACE Dimensions
Ian brings his extensive global experience, spanning over two decades, of working in sales, third-party distribution, and analytics roles to PACE as a consultant.
Previously Ian spent over 16 years at IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group) as a Director, leading the hospitality giant’s distribution strategy team for the Asia, MiddleEast and Africa (AMEA) region.
During this time, Ian led the management of 30 existing third-party distribution connected partners based in AMEA and led business development, contract negotiation and implementation for new connectivity partners.
Earlier experience at IHG includes seven years as the global leader of the Travel Management Companies (TMC) segment, a role which included developing and setting the segment strategy and overseeing the strategic negotiation direction for all TMC partnerships. Prior roles at IHG include Revenue Programs Manager, within the Distribution Marketing function and Sales Information Manager supporting the EMEA Global Sales with strategic planning and analysis Ian holds a BSc in Business Information Studies from University of Teesside Ian’s area of expertise include distribution, corporate travel, business development, strategy and coaching. Away from work Ian enjoys walking, travelling and skiing.
Louise Burns
Senior Consultant, PACE Dimensions
Before joining PACE, Louise was part of the leadership team of Bentley Motors. Over fifteen years she headed all the marketing disciplines from CRM, customer experience and retail strategy to brand experience and communications, employing the latest customer insight and fusing digital innovation with traditional channels, to ensure the brand remained relevant to existing and emerging customers and maximised investment. Most recently she worked exclusively on their 2030 strategy, securing multi-million investments in go-to-market and brand transformation programmes to deliver the ten year sales and profit targets. Responding to the latest HNWI research, this strategy has sustainability and wellness at its core.
Amongst her achievements are the design and execution of the multi-million, cost-neutral programme to launch Bentley’s Centenary “Sustainable Luxury” vision, reaching over 85% of HNWI, significantly shifting brand perception, and redesigning the retail experience globally to attract a new segment, at zero cost increase to franchisees. During her time with Bentley sales grew by over 50%, advance order banks were secured for all new products, advocacy reached 95% and the company turned from loss-making to profit.
Prior to Bentley, Louise held key global brand and communications roles at British Airways dedicated to revenue generation and growing brand value across the airline, subsidiary brands and extensions. She developed her early career in a range of marketing roles in telecoms, travel and publishing.
Louise has travelled extensively for business and pleasure and has worked on major projects with partners in the Middle East, Asia, Australasia and Americas. She combines clear strategic direction with a realistic focus on delivery and an incredible eye for detail. Louise is a champion of brand with a passion for ensuring business has a strong purpose and customer relevant strategy at its core.
Serene Ho
EA, PACE Dimensions
Serene has rich experience in administration engaging in the luxury retail industry as well as the tertiary education and charity sector. With the degree in accountancy, she specialises in project administration and budget control providing professional support to the executives.

Early years: PACE was founded in 2010 and initially focused on performance improvement and business architecture design to aid companies in delivering meaningful change and making more impactful investments. Our expertise includes thought leadership, corporate and strategy development, and improving organisation readiness for successfully navigating disruption.
Industry coverage grows: Following a successful career, most recently as a senior vice president and board member at Hilton, PACE Dimensions’ founder Tim Davis established the business initially focused on hospitality consulting. As PACE grew, it’s research and management consultancy powered investment decisions and growth across the travel, leisure and hospitality sectors.
Range of clients: Over the last decade, PACE’s clients have included accommodation rental and hotel brands, management companies, real estate investment companies, online retailers, digital media, travel management companies, tour operators and distribution and marketing businesses serving the travel and hospitality industry.
