With 14 years senior-level experience across multiple areas of digital marketing and channel management, Jo’s ability to set effective strategies is supported by a practical knowledge of the front-line of digital media. This includes technologies and tactics covering data and analytics, performance marketing, CRM, mobile, social, content management and more. Jo spent seven years in the travel industry and has also worked in the recruitment, property, and B2C and B2B ecommerce sectors.
Examples of Jo’s work include leading the successful design and activation of a global digital customer-facing business strategy for FTSE 250 recruiter Hays; developing and rolling out a new direct response digital marketing strategy and organisation structure for FTSE 100 hotelier IHG, implementing programme changes that improved profit by 20%; and expanding IHG’s European, Middle East and African online marketing activities and team to subsequently deliver 8-figure revenues p.a. within strict cost of sale parameters.
Prior to joining PACE Jo was Interim Group Head of Digital Marketing at Hays PLC and, before that, held two Director positions at IHG PLC including Director of Global Interactive Marketing.
Earlier in her career Jo was responsible for Hamptons International online business and cut her digital teeth at ecommerce start-ups GroupTrade.com and Nutravida.com
Jo’s passion for digital stems from an unquenchable thirst for learning and planning new and better ways to do things. As well as steering her career, this has led to her travelling extensively, renovating houses and reorganising almost everything she comes across.
